Harrisville Designs has been spinning Virgin Wool Yarn in Harrisville, New Hampshire for over 40 years. Established in 1971, Harrisville Designs was the fruitful outcome of John J. Colony III’s painstaking efforts to keep the village’s textile tradition alive and to create jobs for the economic vitality of the region. Interestingly, the village of Harrisville was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977. Harrisville Designs is presently owned and operated by John and Patricia Colony.
